1) Key Objectives:

1.     To be a part of your noble cause called education.

2.     To give space for each child to manifest their capabilities in education and society by hearing and observing them.

3.     To Focus on each children’s learning by allowing them without disturbing their natural flow of knowledge. 

4.     To enhance their relationship with nature and society by making them to mingle in society through the service.

5.      To take care of students physical and mental health by giving tasty and nutritious food and counseling.

2) Work Delegation:

All children will be equally segregated into 4 different teams, with 4 different responsibilities. Each team will be segregated by balancing of mixed aged group children.

The each team is responsible to take care any of these i.e., Food, Events, Equipment and Time Management - needs for their summer camp.

Eg: Day 1, team-1 need to take care of food, Team-2 take care of time, team-3 should care of organizing events, and team-4 should care of equipment.

Day-2 they need to exchange their responsibilities

After 4 days one round completes, and it should rotate.

Rotation Process

 

3) Academic Orientation

Children will be divided into different levels based on their age and academics, 3 classrooms need to be there with the rotation of teachers in each classroom.

There should be 3 classrooms for 3 levels.

Level - 1 Consists of Primary Children (Classes Nursery to 5)

Level - 2 Consists of Upper Primary children (Class 6 - 8)

Level - 3 Consists of High School and College children (Classes 9 - 12)

 

Note: Teams and Levels are completely different

Teams will be segregated balancing unity in all diversities of children.

Levels will be formed based on cognitive abilities

 

“In each level a team should be there”.

4. Student Concern

It the main focus area of our summer camp it is connected with Curriculum dealings, Co-curricular performances, Extra-curricular Practices.

*Curricular Dealings:

By using textbook as a medium, curriculum is dealing with Knowledge acquiring Activities through Academic Subjects such as Languages, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies & Sciences, Practical experiments.

*Co-curricular Performance:

It is dealing with Artistic (creative) activities, to refresh their thoughts, In focus areas are Art & craft,  Story Telling, Drill, Indoor & Outdoor games, Library, Audio – Visual classes, Music & Dance, Meditation, Computer Basics etc.

Co-curricular dealings

Art: Painting, drawing, etc.

Craft: Making things such as paper flower, caps, greerings etc.

Outdoor & Indoor games: Chess, Caroms, Snakes & Ladders etc. with informal guidance

Story telling: Akbar-Birbal; Krishnadevaraya-RamaKrishna; Panchatantra, Jataka tales, etc.

Music & Dance: Local music and dance

Computer: Paint, Word, Excel, PPT etc.

 

*Extracurricular Practices:

It is dealing with the like First Aid, Nutrition, Nature Walk, Land Care, Empowering environment, Reflective sessions,  Sports (Kabaddi, Kho – Kho, Cricket etc – with formal supervision.

First aid: Snake bite, Drowning, Electric shock, Sun-stork, Burns, Bleedings etc.

Nutrition: Knowing about the Vitamins, Proteins, Fats, carbohydrates, Minerals (Iron, Calcium, potassium, zinc, etc.) in their diet.

Nature walk: Evening walk with the observation on different themes like Plant/tree, clouds, water bodies, stones, house structures, etc.

Land care: Cleaning surroundings in school and community Like Swach Bharat.

Empowering Environment: Planting and Taking care of trees

Reflective sessions: Daily reflections, each students need to be share their thoughts on learning’s (It is also like feedback session)
